We can help with questions related to motivation, time management, study skills, memory, exam prep, note-taking and reading comprehension.

Study with us! Join our drop-in study groups and apply efficient strategies with a Learning Specialist while you complete your academic work, without needing to book an appointment. These drop-ins take place on Wednesday mornings in the following locations:

Office Drop-ins
Ask a question! The office drop-ins provide a private space to ask a quick question about studying or to learn more about what Learning Specialists do. Get recommendations for what types of learning strategies support might be a good fit for you, without needing to book an appointment.

Time Management and Scheduling
Learn how to make and keep effective weekly study habits and schedules. Learn how to improve focus, find motivation and catch up to and keep up with university life and course expectations.
Studying, Note-Taking, Exam Prep and Memory Strategies
We will help you learn how to prioritize, plan, read and study. Learn effective study strategies and retrieval practices in our workshops.
Communication and Presentation Skills
How can you use a formal tone when communicating with your professor or supervisor? How do you communicate with peers when working on a group project? How do you engage your audience while presenting ? In our group workshops, you will learn skills that apply directly to your academic life.

Fresh Start Program
