New York City
A dedicated group of volunteers organizes annual events such as the Central Park Skating and Dinner, along with occasional gatherings featuring UAlberta researchers and local alumni. Area alumni and friends also take part in "All-Canadian" alumni events hosted by the Canadian Association of New York (CANY). These include Canada Day celebrations, the family-friendly Terry Fox Run/Walk, and an annual fall networking reception.
We are currently looking for volunteers to join our New York chapter.

Arizona
Phoenix
Approximately 400 alumni call the Phoenix area home year-round, along with many seasonal "snowbirds" who escape the winter in warmer weather. Each year, the chapter hosts an annual brunch in February or March, showcasing Â鶹ÊÓƵ research and fostering alumni connection.
California
San Francisco
With over 700 alumni, the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area is the largest USA chapter. Six volunteers plan and host activities including educational events to casual networking get-togethers. The chapter participates in "all-Canadian" alumni events organized by Digital Moose Lounge, a long-standing community of Canadians in the San Francisco Bay area.
