Stephanie is a proud double alumna of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, having graduated from both the Â鶹ÊÓƵ School of Public Health (Master of Public Health - Epidemiology, '17) and Augustana (BSc Biology '14). She is incredibly grateful for her time at these two faculties, and attributes much of her success and her way of thinking about the world to her early liberal arts education.
She currently works as an epidemiologist for the Government of Alberta, although has had a varied career that includes infectious disease epidemiology and outbreak response, public policy and programming related to Alberta's opioid crisis, and public health workforce capacity building.
Both inside and outside of work she is passionate about advancing social change in the areas of equity, diversity, and inclusion, especially when it comes to the health and wellness of the 2SLGBTQ2+ community.
